Not restricted by length but must be accompanied by an abstract.

Theme:

​

Contemporary Culture, Narrative Expression, and Philosophy & Thought in expressions of freedom and independence in literary works in the context of Zambianess; both at home and in the diaspora.

We welcome submissions in the following categories:

 

• Essays: Share your personal experiences, insights, and opinions in a thought-provoking essay that explores the theme.​

 

• Poetry: Use the power of words to express your emotions, thoughts, and feelings in a beautiful and meaningful way.

 

• Prose: Write a piece of prose that showcases your writing style and creativity, whether it's a memoir, a creative nonfiction piece, or a fictional work.

• Short Stories: Let your imagination run wild and create a captivating story that captures the reader's attention from beginning to end.

 

Submission Guidelines:

 

• Submissions must be original, unpublished works.

• Multiple submissions are allowed and will be considered.

• Submissions should be formatted in 12-point font, double-spaced, and include the author's name and contact information on a separate cover page.

• Submit your work as both a Word document and PDF file.
